Conditions Treated

Dr. Farrell is providing emergency chiropractic services during COVID-19 and is accepting new patients for emergency care. Please refer to the COVID-19 update page here for more details on emergency care criteria. Patients of other practitioners closed due to COVID-19 are welcome for emergency care if their regular provider is not available.

While most patients are GP or specialist referred, a referral is not required.  Dr. Farrell sees a diversity of patients with ranging health problems and varying treatment needs. Complex musculoskeletal conditions such as persistent neck and shoulder pain, lower back pain along with pain in muscles and joints are conditions Dr. Farrell regularly treats. Dr. Farrell also takes a special interest in neurological rehabilitation for vertigo and concussion syndromes.

Dr. Farrell is currently accepting new patients and regularly performs intake examinations and treatment for motor vehicle accident claim victims through the Alberta Motor Vehicle Accident Claims Program

Dr. Farrell also regularly consults for medicolegal purposes.  Please refer to the section here for more information on these services and fees.

Dr. Farrell does not consult for WCB directly. All WCB (Workers Compensation Board) cases interested in services provided by Dr. Farrell must first obtain approval from their WCB case manager or treating physician.  Such patients will be required to make payment for services and then seek reimbursement from WCB.  Dr. Farrell does not accept the WCB fee schedule and therefore does not provide direct billing.  Without prior approval from their case manager, patients may jeopardize their claim and ability to be reimbursed fully for the services.

Dr. Farrell considers it a privilege to serve DVA patients. The office will oversee direct billing for their pensionable conditions with Medavie Blue Cross directly.

Dr. Farrell is a certified Interactive Metronome Home ProviderHe offers programs for clients interested in pursuing this as a treatment option for various conditions.  To learn more about the Interactive Metronome please refer to their website here.
